Asparagus is such a fun spring vegetable! It looks kind of funny, but it’s so delicious! And it doesn’t have to be all that hard to cook. This recipe is one of the simplest you’ll find… for anything!

After all that, the cooking part isn’t so hard! All you need for delicious asparagus is a lipped baking sheet, some olive oil, lemon juice, and a little salt and pepper. (See the printable recipe card below for the amounts and directions.)

Easy Roasted Asparagus
Ingredients
- 1 bunch asparagus
- 2 Tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Wash and trim asparagus. Pat dry, and place on a lipped baking sheet.
- Sprinkle olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper over asparagus. Toss gently, using tongs, to evenly coat asparagus.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes, tossing asparagus once during cooking.
- Serve immediately.
