Easy Roasted Asparagus

Asparagus is such a fun spring vegetable! It looks kind of funny, but it’s so delicious! And it doesn’t have to be all that hard to cook. This recipe is one of the simplest you’ll find… for anything!

The hardest part about asparagus is knowing which bunch to buy, and how to keep it fresh at home. I’ve got you covered! These posts have all the information you need about asparagus:

After all that, the cooking part isn’t so hard! All you need for delicious asparagus is a lipped baking sheet, some olive oil, lemon juice, and a little salt and pepper. (See the printable recipe card below for the amounts and directions.)

This fast side dish is perfect to have with a juicy burger, a thick steak, some delicious pork chops, fried chicken, chopped up on a salad, or however you want to eat it!

Easy Roasted Asparagus

Do you need a fast side dish recipe to go with dinner tonight? Grab some fresh asparagus from the grocery store, and this Easy Roasted Asparagus will be ready in less than 20 minutes - with almost no work by you!

Cook Time 15 mins
Total Time 20 mins

Ingredients
  

  • 1 bunch asparagus
  • 2 Tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Wash and trim asparagus. Pat dry, and place on a lipped baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper over asparagus. Toss gently, using tongs, to evenly coat asparagus.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes, tossing asparagus once during cooking.
  • Serve immediately.
