What you Need for Cranberry-Apple Cobbler

The ingredients for this easy dessert aren’t all that complicated!

  • Apples – check out this post for tips on how to easily core, peel, and chop them
  • Canned whole-berry cranberry sauce
  • Sugar (to cut the tartness of the cranberries)
  • All-purpose flour
  • Salt
  • Vanilla
  • Egg
  • Butter

How to Make Cranberry-Apple Cobbler

Start off by making the filling. Since it is going to bake in the oven, all you need to do on the stovetop is get the cranberries, apples, and sugar combined and warmed up. While the filling is heating, mix up the simple dough for the cobbler topping. (I like stainless steel bowl sets like these for my mixing bowls.) Then add the filling to a baking pan, spoon the topping over the top, and pop it all in the oven!

It’s so simple to make. You can get the kids involved in the measuring and stirring. What would be better to do on a windy fall day?

Enjoy!
