Slow cookers are a life-saver in the heat of the summer, the busy-ness of a school or work week, and the laziness of a weekend off. This slow cooker recipe for BBQ Chicken Legs is so easy and delicious, you’ll want to make it all the time!
I like to buy chicken legs in bulk when they are on sale. When I get them home, I’ll split the big package up into smaller portions and freeze them in Ziploc freezer bags. Then I can pull one bag out of the freezer to thaw at a time, and know that I’ll have the perfect amount for our family (and maybe a meal or two of leftovers).
Even though BBQ chicken feels like a summer dish, with this easy slow cooker recipe BBQ chicken can be an any-season recipe! And now you don’t have to worry about standing over a hot grill to make sure the chicken comes out just right… Let your slow cooker do the hard work, and then finish the chicken legs under the broiler in your oven for the finishing touch!
With this simple 2 ingredient recipe, how can you possibly go wrong?
