Everybody gets their own little cheeseburger wrapped up in a biscuit cup. They’re fun, they’re tasty, and they are so easy! Even your kids can help you put these together. This recipe is in the Kids in the Kitchen section of “Mom Knows Best” by Gooseberry Patch.

Brown your ground beef and add a few ingredients to make a sweet and savory sauce. (You can use other types of ground meat – pick your favorite here!) Your kids can help press pre-cut refrigerated biscuit dough (we used Pillsbury Grands) down into a muffin tin, and fill the cups with the beef. Sprinkle plenty of cheese over the top, bake, and you’re done!

These days, if a recipe isn’t fast or easy (or both!) it isn’t getting made around here. Gooseberry Patch’s new cookbook, “Mom Knows Best,” is chock-full of recipes that are both easy and fast. Check out some other things I’ve made from this cookbook!

Part of the reason I love this recipe is that they are so easy and fast to put together! I actually made the beef mixture earlier in the afternoon (while Baby Doc and I were hanging out in the kitchen). I kept it in the refrigerator until later in the day. About 5 minutes of prep time to get the muffin tins filled, and 20 minutes in the oven, and we were ready for dinner!

Enjoy!

Like the recipe. But was wondering if I could swap out biscuits for crescent rolls as I have no biscuits. Any help here?

You can use crescent rolls instead of biscuits, but the “cups” might not rise quite as much. I’m sure they will still be delicious!
