Who says turkey has to take forever in your oven? Pop one of these small turkey roasts in your Instant Pot, and you can have turkey any time you want!

These 3-pound turkey roasts often go on serious sales after Thanksgiving and Christmas, so watch the meat section of your grocery store around the holidays. They can be a great bargain, and they store really well in your freezer. I like the plain turkey roasts with both white meat and dark meat.

If you do stock up, make sure to mark it on your freezer inventory. You don’t want those delicious turkey roasts to get forgotten in the back of your freezer!

Make sure you check the labels carefully, though. Some of these turkey roasts are seasoned, and I accidentally bought a few cajun-seasoned roasts once! While the cajun-seasoned turkey roast was delicious, it was not what I wanted. For this recipe, make sure you get a plain turkey roast, not a pre-seasoned one.

You can also substitute a plain turkey breast in this recipe if you prefer all white meat.

We also have a slow cooker version of this recipe, which is just as delicious!
