303 Simple & Satisfying Recipes Giveaway

By Marybeth Feutz

UPDATE: This giveaway is now closed, and the winner has been notified. Thank you to everyone who entered!

I’ve been cooking out of “303 Simple & Satisfying Recipes” by Gooseberry Patch a lot lately. First, it’s a new-to-me cookbook, so that puts it top of mind in my meal planning. Second, it’s got a ton of recipes that are easy to put together and oh-so-yummy to eat!

303 Simple & Satisfying Recipes giveaway

This is a “3-book-in-1” deal. It has all the recipes from “101 Easy Everyday Recipes”, “101 Slow-Cooker Recipes”, and “101 Cupcake, Cookie, & Brownie Recipes”. (Yep, you read that right… 101 dessert recipes… yum…)

Still have a little sweet corn left? Did you freeze some extra this summer? This Creamy Corn Dip from the slow cooker section is a great warm appetizer for cool fall tailgate parties!

Also in your slow cooker, Ham and Ranch Potatoes taste great warm as a meal all by themselves, as a hearty side dish, or cold as a fun twist on potato salad.

Chicken, bacon, cheese, bread, and a dash of A1 Sauce… Now we’re talking about some fall comfort food! Try these Chicken Bacon Melts from the “Easy Everyday Recipes” section for a quick weeknight meal.

And speaking of weeknight meals, this Meatball Skillet (also from the “Easy Everyday Recipes” section) is way easier to put together than it looks.

And what would fall be without a little bit of pumpkin? Try Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bars the next time you need a quick and easy dessert. (Do you need me to tell you that this is from the “101 Cupcake, Cookie, & Brownie Recipes” part of the book?)

By the way… there are actually more than 101 dessert recipes in here… The other two sections of this cookbook also have some desserts… so grab a spoon and a cold glass of milk and get ready to dig in! Be sure to check out Gooseberry Patch’s Pinterest board to see even more of the great recipes from “303 Simple & Satisfying Recipes”.

Are you ready to give one of these tasty recipes a try? Want to see what else is in this great cookbook? Now is your chance to win a copy – I have one copy to give away to one lucky reader!

Leave me a comment below and tell me what is your favorite fall comfort food. That’s it! One entry per person, please.

This giveaway closes at midnight (Central time) on Sunday 10/5/14. Winner will be notified via email and have 48 hours to respond before a new winner will be chosen. The winner must have a shipping address within the continental U.S.

Good luck!

    Sweet and Sour Meatballs
My cousin is a wonderful cook. She had us over for dinner a couple of weeks ago and she served this as one of the main dishes. They were soft and moist and so tasty! She said they had onion flakes in them; the kind from your spice rack. She gave my mom the recipe and we had them again a week later. (Meatballs are very easy for a post bariatric lapband patient, like myself, to digest.)

Meatballs are a comfort food for me, quite literally. My cousin’s Sweet and Sour Meatballs are my new favorite meatball dish. Since I first had them this fall, I guess that qualifies them as a “fall comfort food” for me. 😀

I like to roast a lot in the fall. This is one of my favs – I roast chicken, squash and red onions then toss it with baby spinach and cranberries.
