You can just call this the leftover casserole. It’s perfect for after one of those holidays – you know, when you have leftover ham and leftover turkey? Toss them together with some noodles, and make a completely different meal!
This recipe was adapted from one in “Best Ever Casseroles” by Gooseberry Patch. I have to say, the more I cook from this cookbook, the more I love it!
Don’t have leftovers, but want to make this anyway? Not a problem! For a super-easy start, just pick up some cooked, diced ham and a rotisserie chicken from your grocery store. Or cook up a chicken breast on the grill.
Want to give this dish a hit of veggies? Add in a cup of frozen peas, or frozen peas & carrots, or whatever frozen vegetable your family likes. (Anywhere you can squeeze in a few extra vegetables is great!)
The best thing about this leftover casserole? (I mean this Slow Cooker Ham, Turkey, & Noodle Casserole!) You do a little bit of prep work, and then throw everything in the slow cooker. That’s the best thing about holiday leftovers – minimal cooking after the holiday!

Slow Cooker Ham, Turkey, and Noodle Casserole
Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 1 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup cooked ham diced
- 1/2 cup cookedturkey diced
- 1 cup wide egg noodles uncooked
- 1/4 cup celery chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- Paprika to taste
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Whisk in flour and heat until bubbly. Add milk, stirring constantly, until mixture is thick, smooth, and heated through. Stir in salt and pepper. Remove from heat.
- Add ham, turkey, uncooked noodles, and celery to sauce. Toss to coat well.
- Transfer mixture to an ungreased casserole slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours. Top with shredded Swiss cheese.
