Yes, you can make scrambled eggs in a pan on the stove. They really aren’t that difficult! But when you’re cooking for a crowd, it’s tough to make a lot of scrambled eggs all at once. I usually end up making them in batches, and by the time I’m done with everything else, my eggs are cold! No more! Use your oven, and let your scrambled eggs bake while you’re working on something else!

This works best if you need to cook a lot of scrambled eggs. I’m talking a dozen eggs or more. If you only want a few eggs, it would probably be easier to stick with the stovetop. But I promise I won’t judge, if you want to cook everything in the oven, I certainly won’t stop you!

The trick is that the eggs will stick to the baking pan. So you should definitely spray the pan with non-stick cooking spray. I also added melted butter to the eggs before I added them to the pan. The butter and cooking spray will help the eggs stick less. But this is still not a dish to leave sitting out… give it a quick soak and wash the pan as soon as you get to it.

Let the eggs bake in the oven for 10 minutes. Then take them out and give them a stir. A silicone spatula is perfect for the job – scrape the bottom and sides of the pan, and mix the eggs well. Checking and stirring the eggs every once in a while will make sure that you don’t overcook the eggs, and that you get them broken up into the perfect size pieces.

Enjoy!
