One of the best things about Thanksgiving is all the leftovers. I mean, spending time with family and friends is awesome, too. But let’s be honest. This holiday is about food.
This casserole is from the newly-released “Best Ever Casseroles” from Gooseberry Patch. The new printing of this classic cookbook has a center section with beautiful glossy photos of the yummy food you’ll be making!
Sometimes, you want to have another plate of turkey with all the fixings. But sometimes you need to do something different with the leftover turkey, and all that leftover dressing. (You aren’t planning to cook the dressing in the bird, are you?)
And because you just slaved over a huge Thanksgiving feast, the last thing you want to do now is cook some more. So just toss this in your casserole Crock-Pot and let it do the cooking for you!
And if you really want to pack in that Thanksgiving flavor, ladle on some leftover gravy to top it off!
What are you waiting for? Bring on more Thanksgiving!
