Watching the crabs

By Marybeth Feutz 1 Comment

We found a spot on the San Diego bay where we could watch the little crabs run around on the rocks. See the little guy here? He kind of blends in with the rocks…

crab on a ledge

Look out, crab, the wave is coming!

here comes a wave

Oh no, the wave crashed up on his rocks!

covered with water

The water is receding… where is the crab?

the wave goes out

Uh oh… no crab in sight…

wheres the crab

Phew! He crawled out from a crack under the ledge. Lucky guy, not washed out to sea!

made it back

I would hate to be a crab. One wrong wave and missed grab and you need to make a new home on the other side of the bay!

Crabs? San Diego? I am soooo far behind on reading my blogs, AND I am jealous that you are out in sunny, sandy, oceany places. Enjoy!
