National Dairy Month might be over, but National Ice Cream Month is just getting started!

We love our homemade ice cream maker – we start in June and use it all the way through the fall.

Everyone loves ice cream… there’s tons of flavors to choose from, and even more toppings to put on. But what if you get bored of ice cream in a bowl? Okay, you can go with a cone, or a milkshake, or a float, but then what?

Here’s a few different things to try with “plain old” ice cream.

Ice cream cupcakes – somewhere between ice cream sandwiches and ice cream cake.

Brownie sundae bon-bons – for the candy and brownie lover in all of us.

Ice cream bread – I kid you not. This recipe surprised me… a lot. But I’m excited to give it a try!

Nice collection of recipes for ice cream desserts. But ice cream bread really sounds a bit weird, mixing the ice cream with flour and sugar. I’m going to give that a miss, going to try out the ice cream cupcakes. Thanks for sharing!

I agree, the bread sounds a little strange! Let me know how the cupcakes turn out!
