With this simple Upside-Down Pizza Casserole, every night can be pizza night! Mix it up with your favorite pizza toppings, and this simple recipe can be different every time you make it.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup mini pepperoni
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 green bell peppers chopped
  • 24- ounce can tomato sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 10- ounce can refrigerated flaky biscuits


  • Brown ground beef in a large skillet.
  • When the beef is cooked, add the pepperoni, onion, bell peppers, and tomato sauce to the beef and heat through.
  • Transfer the meat mixture to a 2-quart casserole dish.
  • Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Remove biscuits from the can. Gently flatten each biscuit with your palms and place on top of the casserole.
  • Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees for 15-18 minutes, until biscuits are cooked through.
