steel-cut oats

salt

butter
2
teaspoons
pure vanilla extract

water

chopped strawberries
1/4
cup
sugar
Instructions
Turn
Instant Pot
on to saute setting
Add butter, oats, salt, vanilla to the Instant Pot.
Stir frequently until butter is melted.
Add water to the oats mixture.
Cover and seal the Instant Pot, setting the vent pipe to "sealing."
Press "manual." Cook on high pressure for 5 minutes.
While the oatmeal is cooking, combine the strawberries and the sugar in a
small bowl
. Mix well and set aside until oatmeal is done.
After a 10-minute natural pressure release, turn the vent pipe to "venting" and let the rest of the pressure release.
If you want your oats softer, put the cover back on and let sit (on the keep warm setting) for an additional 5-10 minutes.
Stir strawberries into oatmeal.
Serve immediately.
Refrigerate leftovers in an
air-tight container
.
