cooked rice
Instructions
In a
small bowl
, combine cornstarch and chicken broth. Mix well with a
small whisk
or a fork and set aside.
Add the rest of the ingredients except the rice and chicken to a
6-quart slow cooker
and stir gently to mix.
Add the chicken to the slow cooker, and gently press down into the vegetable mixture.
Pour the chicken broth mixture over the chicken.
Cover and cook on high for 4-5 hours, until the chicken reaches
165 degrees F
measured with a
meat thermometer
.
Serve immediately.
