Ingredients
  

  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1 Tablespoon mustard
  • 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 hamburger buns
  • Optional: extra shredded cheese for garnish; sliced pickles

Instructions
 

  • Cook bacon in a large skillet or in the oven until it is crisp.
  • Set cooked bacon aside. Drain grease from skillet.
  • Brown ground beef in the same skillet.
  • When the beef is cooked through, add ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar. Mix thoroughly and cook over low heat until heated through.
  • Crumble bacon and add to skillet. Add cheese to skillet and stir until cheese is melted.
  • Top buns with pickle slices, hamburger mixture, and extra cheese if desired. Serve immediately.
