In a skillet over medium heat, cook bacon and chopped vegetables for 3-5 minutes, until the color of the vegetables starts to brighten. Spoon vegetable mixture into a 6 quart slow cooker.
Add turkey and uncooked rice to slow cooker.
In a bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup and half of the chicken broth. Add remaining broth and seasonings. Pour over turkey mixture in slow cooker. Stir well.
Cover and cook on low setting for for 6-7 hours, until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
