Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bars

Ingredients
  

  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin
  • 15-1/4 ounce package yellow cake mix
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1-1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine eggs and pumpkin. Stir in dry cake mix and pumpkin pie spice until well blended.
  • Fold in chocolate chips and nuts (if using).
  • Spread into a greased 13" x 9" baking pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 30-33 minutes, until toothpick tests clean.
  • Cool completely. Cut into bars.
