For the asparagus:

bunch asparagus

extra-virgin olive oil

salt

black pepper
For the pasta salad:

cups
cooked
orzo pasta
1/2
cup
shredded Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Roast the asparagus:
Place the asparagus on a
lipped baking sheet
.
Drizzle the olive oil over the asparagus, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Toss the asparagus to coat.
Bake the asparagus at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes, tossing occasionally, until tender.
When asparagus is cool enough to handle, cut it into bite-size pieces.
Assemble the pasta salad.
In a
large skillet
, combine the cooked orzo, cooked asparagus, and shredded Parmesan.
Cook, stirring frequently, for 5-7 minutes until everything is heated through and the cheese is melted.
Serve immediately.
