vanilla

cinnamon

butter
softened

brown sugar
packed

chopped pecans

nutmeg
Instructions
Place bread cubes in a
large bowl
. In a separate bowl, beat together eggs, milk, vanilla, and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.
Pour egg mixture over bread; mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to overnight.
Spoon bread mixture into a lightly greased
6 quart slow cooker
.
In a
small bowl
, mix together butter, brown sugar, pecans, remaining cinnamon and nutmeg; sprinkle over bread mixture.
Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, or on high for 2 hours. Let stand 15-20 minutes before serving.
