How to Make Scrambled Eggs in the Oven

Have you ever felt like a short-order cook in your own kitchen? Use this trick to make scrambled eggs in your oven, and easily feed a crowd in a hurry.

  • 12 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 Tablespoons butter melted
  • Optional: salt pepper, chopped parsley, chopped chives


  • Whisk eggs and milk together in a large bowl.
  • Slowly add melted butter, whisking as you pour the butter in.
  • Lightly spray a 9x13 pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the 9x13 pan.
  • Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
  • Use a silicone spatula to gently mix the eggs, scraping the bottom and sides of the pan.
  • Return eggs to oven, stirring every 5 minutes, for a total of 20-25 minutes.
  • Watch eggs carefully in the last 5 minutes of cooking; they can go from not-quite-done to overcooked quickly.
  • Serve immediately.
  • Top with garnishes, if desired.
