Instructions
Place butter in a
6-quart slow cooker
. Cover and cook on high until butter melts (about 10 minutes).
Stir white mini marshmallows into melted butter. Cover and cook on high, stirring occasionally until marshmallows melt (about 10-15 minutes).
Add food coloring to melted marshmallows, 1-2 drops at a time, stirring between drops until the desired color is reached.
Turn off the heat.
Add Rice Krispies to the green marshmallow mixture, and gently fold into melted marshmallows with a
silicone spatula
.
Stir in fruit-flavored mini marshmallows.
Turn Rice Krispie mixture out into a greased
8x8 baking pan
(we like
cooking spray
).
Using sprayed hands, press the Rice Krispies down into the pan.
Top with desired sprinkles, gently pressing sprinkles into the surface of the treats so they stick.
Let cool. Slice into squares and serve immediately.
Store leftovers in an air-tight container.
