loaf French bread

eggs

milk

teaspoons
pure vanilla extract

blackberries
if using frozen, thaw first

sugar

Instructions
Cut French bread into 1-inch cubes and place in a
large bowl
.
In a
separate bowl
, combine eggs, milk, and vanilla.
Whisk
well to combine.
Pour egg mixture over bread cubes and toss to coat.
In another bowl, mix blackberries with sugar. Toss to coat well.
With a
silicone scraper
, gently fold blackberries into the bread mixture.
Lightly grease a
6-quart slow cooker
.
Transfer bread mixture to slow cooker.
Lay several layers of
paper towels
over the top of the slow cooker, then cover with the lid.
Cook on high for 2.5-3 hours.
Let sit, uncovered, for 5 minutes before serving.
