Place one piece of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet. Turn the heat down to low.
Assemble sandwich in the skillet as follows - 2 pieces of cheese, 2 pieces of bacon, 2-3 slices tomato, a sprinkle of Italian seasoning, 1 piece of cheese, 1 piece of bread (buttered side up).
Cook sandwich on low for 3-4 minutes, until the bread is browned and the cheese begins to melt.
Using a spatula, flip the sandwich over and cook for 3-4 minutes on the second side.
Remove sandwich from skillet and repeat for the second sandwich.
